Wednesday 10/6/99 I flew on my first airplane ride today, all the way from NJ. Boy was I scared. My Aunt Donna (my foster Mom in NJ) knew I would be and she put a nice note on my crate. She explained that I might be rude and apologized in advance for me. I got sprung from that roller coaster ride from hell by my new Aunt Lynn in Atlanta, Ga. She knew I was so scared and needed a lap real bad so we got along all right without any problems.

Thursday 10/7/99 I went to work with Aunt Lynn today to meet my new Mom. My new Mom and Grandma drove 2 1/2 hours just to meet me. I was so ugly that it is a wonder she took me home with her. I barked and snapped the whole 2 1/2 hours back to my new home. My nose even started to bleed where I keep hitting the door. My new Mom said she was praying and I had better start too. Mom reminded me of the rules at her house. RULE # 1 = No fighting or biting!! RULE # 2 = Nothing goes squish between her toes (wet carpet or anything else). We can negotiate everything else. I got rule #2 covered. I was introduced to the kids when we got home. That is what Mom calls her pets, I guess that includes me now. Aunt Lynn had left the lead on me so Mom had a handle on things when I got out of the crate. Good thing cause I was still being ugly to everybody. Mom and Grandma introduced me to Rex first, he is the Chow mix that lives outside. He laid down but Mom would not let me whip him. Next came Thomas the big, big black cat. No way was I getting on the back porch with that hissing cat. By this time I liked Mom but not Grandma. Next came Cupcake, she is Mom's yorkie---- she is a fat wimp. I could have whipped her easy but Mom said NO-NO. Next was Storm, he is Robert's poodle mix. His attitude is as bad as mine. Storm does not even like Rex and Rex likes everybody. All total it took about 30 minutes for everybody to stop snapping outside. Then we went inside the house. I explored every conner. Mom put my crate in David's room so I would have my own room. David is the youngest son (21) that Mom paid to wear the socks where I would have something to play with if I wanted to. Grandma went home and left us alone cause I was being OK to everybody but her. Thomas came inside. Now he is asleep in my crate. I am under the computer in Cupcakes bed. Nobody has seen the other cat yet. Mom said that the praying must have paid off. Now we have to wait for the" men foke" to get home but at least I am being nice to everybody here now. When my new Dad came home he said "remember not to bite the hand that buys the dog food." That has something to do with rule #1. I am having some problems with that but Mom said we would work on it. She said that Storm was also having some problems too.

Friday 10/8/99 Katie the gray tabby cat showed up for supper. We never did figure out where she had been hiding. She keeps giving me the Evil Eye so I just ignore her. I know I am GREAT. Mom even said so. I am having some problems with rule #1. I do not even start all those fights. Whoever said "Let sleeping dogs lay" had never meet Thomas. I accidentally jumped on him on the sofa and woke him up. Boy ohhh boy. Mom said since he is twice as big as me that I would loose the rematch too. I will keep my options open on that.
