Bouncie

Thought I would give you all an update on the 7yr old bitch at the Houston
Shelter. The very nice lady Patti Dotson who adopted the two fat little girls
awhile back called me and we called the Shelter and she will get her out in
the morning. The lady at the shelter really does not know how old the dog is
they are just guessing because she has very bad teeth. I told her that she
could still be quite young as MinPin teeth are not always very good. Patti is
calling her Vet tomorrow to see about getting her spayed and the teeth cleaned
as they would not let her take the bitch until this was guaranteed. I gave the
shelter our guarantee that this would be done ASAP. This is a Red bitch,
cropped ears and a little on the tubby side!?LOL she has a fat pocket on one
hip that they called a tumour and the Vet will check it out but don't think it
is anything to worry about. She doesn't look like an older MinPin as she has
no grey or white on her so my bet is that she probably isn't much more than 3
or 4 years old. She was a stray that was picked up and brought into the
shelter and no one has been looking for her SIGH!!! People!!!! Patti will
foster her for a short while but we really need to find her a new home of her
own as Patti has her own 3 MinPins, the 2 rescue girls and her neutered male.
Once she gets her tomorrow I will find out more about her but the Shelter
personnel said she had a good temperament but really loved to EAT!! Sound
familiar to any of you LOL Patti does not have many resources so as soon as I
get her address I will ask if any of you can spare a few dollars to help pay
for her Vet bills so we can get her adopted , hopefully before Christmas

Hi Folks
Well first off I think I did the wrong thing when I signed up to foster.
This is s beatiful little lady. Except for the teeth being in really bad shape
(seems like alot are missing) she looks to be in great shape. She is
little, red ,ears and tail done. This has to be someones pet from the Houston
area. according to the Shelter she has only been there since the 17th. I think
she has had at least 1 litter but very much has her figure back. She is not
over weight but then I like a little meat on the bones. She is a charmer and
took to all the others right away. I was told to put her in a private place to
eat and leave the room she will bite while eating. I am sosoft hearted that it
is already going to be hard to give her up. Oh, by the way we call her Bouncie
she is very much so, but very well mannered. She will be easy to place she
fits right in and doesn't mind the other Urghins at all. Loves kids to and
there where 3 with me 12,9and 8 when I picked her up.

Hi All
I don't no how often you want updates, but here it goes. Bouncie had a
bath yesterday afternoon. She didn't mind it at all but I figure that is
because I took 1 with her. I have a bathtub chair with a hose that is
connected to the shower so we were both naked and wet,
She cannot eat anything that is not soft she tries but you can tell it hurts.
She had a big bowl of Pedigree in sauce and ate that fine. She will carry
around a biscuit in her mouth but can't eat it. My son tried to take it and he
had to run.I went right up to her and she let me have it. She also sleep in
the bed with me and the rest of the herd this bed is getting really crowded
now that is me the 4 dogs and 2 kids that end up in there most nights. I sent
some pics to the web site they were not the best but will have more later. If
I make these posts to long you'll just need to tell me to shut up and let
someelse talk awhile. I will keep in touch and Everyone have a HAPPY
THANKSGIVING.

I forgot 1 more thing. This shelter gave her ALL her shots and she is
heartworm negative.

Ok folks, Bouncie is at the Vet. She had been spayed already and her teeth are
not that bad, just a little infection in the gums ,but he is going to clean
them and make sure. She has Calcuim deposits in her eyes (never heard of
that). The so called tumor on her back is just a fatty deposit. Now she is an
old dog somewhere between 8 and 10 but he said also as I did that she had been
someones pet because other than what I have told you she was taken good care
of. I haven't heard anything on my last post but I know that with the
Holiday's everyone is busy. So, I just want to let everyone know where we
stand.

Hi Everyone
Bouncie is back home. Her teeth are done .pretty and white. None of them
had to be pulled. The vet said the reason she won't eat dry food is that she
is spoiled not because of the teeth. I think I have a very smart dog here.
When everyone else is having there breakfust she will hold out for toast with
butter. They all like cabbage even my dob but I had to open all the windows
last night as the oder was a little much. I don't no what you call it but she
whezzes all the time like can't catch her breath. I'll tell you 1 thing
between her and Nick snezzing and I mean very long snezzing spells and the
girls grunts and the gas attacks last night this is a noisey place. Oh, can
someone tell me about calcuim deposits in the eyes?

This was received by me yesterday...and I thought of Bouncie and sent it on to Patti(pooper48)....who called
and made the arrangements to meet with her in Texas on Dec 26 ...so Bouncie will be a surprise present to a
very luck lady.

Hi Mag
I don't know how many will remember Bouncie, but she is the rescue (my
one and only so far) from the shelter in Houston. I got a pic of her from the
new owners today and am sending it to the page. She is doing great her name is
Holly and she will be touring Canada this summer in a big motorhome. She has
put on some pounds but is working on that and has turned out to be a wonderful
pet.

Bouncie's new home
I am searching for a miniature pincher for my mother. She is 72 years old.
It does not have to be a puppy. We would prefer a female, and older would
be fine.
My mother, Sarah, lives in the middle of Texas in the Meadowlakes area.
Her husband said she fell in love with the neighbors dog so we wanted to get her the same.
Can you help. I found one in California, where I live, but it sure would
be nicer to find a dog in Texas so we don't have to put him on the airplane.
Of course, it is supposed to be a surprise Christmas present for her.
Do you have any suggestions? I would appreciate any assistance you could
give me or referral places to call or contact.>>

Our new little friend has become Coco. She is so sweet and wonderful.
We all just love her so much!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PUTTING US TOGETHER!
We have a bell up for her to touch when she wants to go out.
She had taken owner ship of the house, and sleeps under the covers
at the foot of Mom's bed. She is right at home here.
Happy New Year to you, and we will stay in touch.
