Bucky

Hi, Mag -
Here's a photo I took of Bucky shortly after I found him this summer. I'm going to send
some more recent ones after I scan them.

Hi - The first picture is Bucky in his tiny fez (a Christmas present). We were laughing so
hard Jeff could hardly take the picture!
Here is my husband Jeff with Bucky in one of his much-despised sweaters! Unfortunately, I
left off the top of Jeff's head, oops.
Here is a photo of me with Bucky and the much-beleagured Clyde. Note that Clyde has managed to stay well away from Bucky!

I'm sending the attached photo of my little boy Bucky in his much hated yellow raincoat! The
worst part, for him, is that people laugh at him when he walks around in it... but it does make
walking him in the rain a lot easier!
And here's a photo of Bucky and Clyde, relaxing together on the couch. You'd never know how
much Clyde likes to take a swipe at Bucky's nose with his long claws!

Hi, Mag - This is a photo taken by a nice Russian tourist of Bucky in my lap at the park.
She graciously sent all of her photos to me!
This is a great photo that really captures the little rascal's personality! Looks so
innocent, but... he's ready to lunge at any passing dog three times his size!

My friend wrote about this picture:"some people might think it's merely cute. However, we know
that Bucky is attempting to use the hidden powers of his mind to set fire to the bunny."
I wrote back: "HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT?? We would have taken pictures of what happened next, but
we were too busy putting out the fire. Damn telekinetic dog!"

Hi, Mag -
What a great batch of new pictures! Attached is one of Bucky the Wonderdog I took yesterday.
He is staring resentfully at me, because I'm at the computer instead of playing with him!

Dear Mag,
Last night, I thought I'd try putting some pearls on Ebay and had the brilliant idea of Bucky
wearing them. (My husband was deeply disturbed by this..."he's a GUY!" he kept repeating.) It
didn't really work out, but I thought I'd send a few results from our "photo session"!
The first one he seems okay, the second I think he's agreeing with my husband, and the third he's
had enough!

Dear Mag,
I love seeing all the pictures of the other minpins. Thank you so much for what you're doing!
Following are pictures of Bucky and his (perhaps) new roommates. As you can see, I was sitting
against the wall on the floor and the kittens were crawling around my legs. The room was only 69
degrees, so Bucky was freezing and sat between my legs for warmth. The first picture is Bucky with
Carlos, a silver male kitten who's a real love bug.
The second picture is Bucky with Jerry, a black and white female kitten, ditto. We're changing
their names when we get them home, because they're all named after the animal hospital staff!
The last photo is Bucky giving me a "what are we doing here?" look that I found priceless.
Sorry the quality of the photos is so poor. The lighting was terrible and I photoshopped them as
best I could.
Best,

Dear Mag,
I was very sorry to read of Judd's passing. Losing a beloved pet is so hard...we still miss
Clyde and refer to one particular item of furniture as "Clyde's couch."
But it is with great joy that I report that the kittens have come to their forever home! My
husband was hesitant at first, but then he said yes. Within fifteen minutes his reserve had
completely broken down and he was going in the bathroom every few minutes to "check on them." So
the first picture is Jeff contemplating the menagerie:
The next picture is Carlos, the silver male kitten, winding around Bucky, rubbing against him,
purring and sniffing. Bucky was sort of taken aback, but licked both of them. (Yes, that's me sitting
on the toilet. We had them in the bathroom, until the window broke!)
Next is a picture of the kittens spending their first night in Bucky's old crate, because the
bathroom window broke and it was boiling hot, so we couldn't shut them in the bathroom as originally
planned. They were not happy, and every night when we put them in there, they yowl their heads off!
Finally, a picture of the kittens in their favorite place, which ironically was Clyde's chair in
the front hall. I messed up their eyes a bit with Photoshop, trying to get the deep green of Carlos's
little eyes and the topaze of Cleo's big eyes (Jeff renamed her... she is now HIS kitten!).
So far so good!
All the best,

Hi, Mag -
I couldn't resist sending you a series of pictures I took the other night of me and Bucky. He was
lying asleep on the couch, and I started petting him. He buried his head in my hand (he loves to do
this, especially if he's feeling scared or anxious), and when I pulled my hand away, he streeettched
his legs out to hold on to my hand! "Don't stop petting me!" By the way, in the close up of my hand
around Bucky's head, the red line on my skin is the healing scar from our skirmish over the pajamas
a few weeks ago. Thanks for the tetanus shot, little guy.
Next: first a photo of Cleo, Love Cat of the Night, resting in all of her splendor, second, a
photo of Rupert "helping" me during an Ebay photo shoot, and finally,a photo of Bucky and Rupert
staring at me, 'cause I'm whistling to get their attention. All of these animals sure keep me busy!

Here it is, three years plus since Bucky came into my life. He is such a great dog. I wanted to send some current photos.
The first one is me carrying Bucky in his new 'Pet Pocket,' a carrier that is easier for me to tote than a shoulder bag. He doesn't like it, but treats help!
The second is Bucky hiding in the bedroom while I'm taking photos for my Ebay sales. That involves moving mannequins and photo equipment around. He HATES the noise!

Hi, Mag -
We were here in New York, for the big blizzard of 2006...26 inches of snow in Central Park. Of course Bucky didn't want to go out, but I had to put him in what I called his "spaceman suit." Here are some pictures of Bucky in his suit, including begging while Jeff cooks beef stew, and the corner of 106th and Broadway mid-blizzard!

Dear Mag -
One frigid night, I was working at the computer, bundled up, and I turned around and saw all of the animals, (from left to right) Cleo, Bucky, and Rupert, all on the couch! The cats have one thing Bucky doesn't...FUR! However, Bucky has his very own afghan! I just had to send this to you.

I wanted to send you the link to this customer page where Bucky is proudly modeling one of his personalized coats from Dog-E-Designs:
www.dogedesigns.com/ourcustomers.htm
I'll be sending photos along of some other stuff, some of it not so great, but the little guy is just dandy. He was attacked May 20 by two Australian sheperds, but now he's completely recovered and his little feisty self.

Hi, everyone -
I made my first video, the Flashdance parody from "Diary Of A Mad Fashionista"! I'm so excited! It took me days on Windows Movie Maker, but it was worth it! Alvin Tsang did the videography in the Red Room Theater after the show one night; I did the inserts with my little Canon Powershot.
