This is the response I got from Lance in York, PA the guy that is getting a divorce and wants to get rid of Caesar, because he can't give him the attention that he deserves. I sent him the IMPS link and told him to give me all of the details on Caesar. I'll let you know what he says.

I have been in touch with Lance re Ceaser. He still has him and I am waiting for his phone call. I am so excited about my first rescue. I can't wait to help the group in their efforts to save these wonderful dogs. I don't know what I ever did without Buddy. He is my shadow. He is with me 24 7.

I will let everyone know what happens.

To all-

Just a quick note to let everyone know about Ceaser. I finally heard from his current owner yesterday. He had told me last week that he had a few offers to take Ceaser and he had to choose one. He wasn't comfortable with me giving him to the family I had chosen. He had spoken to me and liked that I had knowledge of the breed and asked if I would take him. I assured him the family lived nearby and would have all the help they needed but he still felt unsure, so I have agreed to take him. I only hope that Buddy is okay with that. I don't want him to feel less special. We are supposed to get Ceaser on Sat. I am upset to explain this to the family that was waiting for him. I never told them about him but they did fill the application and I told them I hoped to help them soon.

Hi all

Ceaser is here. We changed plans slightly and picked him up today. Despite the fact that we were an hour late because we got lost in the "city of brotherly love" (yeah right). Luckily Lance was there with Ceaser waiting for us. He is beautiful and very well mannered. I can't imagine why they would give him up.
We just got home so it is hard to say how he will fit in here. Buddy is to busy protecting mama to get to know the intruder at this point, but that will change I'm sure.
Lance had no papers to give me. He is tattooed, but I have no info on it. Nor did he give me vet certs. I may call the vet on his tags to see what I can find out.

A little note on Buddy as well. You would think nothing happened to him. He's back to his old self.
