Mag,
Here is a picture of Missy from California. She has changed a bunch in the past week and a
half. Her coat is no longer full of flakes and it's very shinny and healthy looking. She is
just a sweetheart. She's just too cute to give up, so we're going to adopt her ourselves!

Hi Mag,
Our story involving IMPS is kind of interesting...thought you might enjoy it!
My husband and I recently got married and purchased our first home and talked
about getting another minpin (we have Billy, the pin in the little devil
costume on your site)...we even joked about getting a black and tan female
and naming her "Tilly" so they'd both come when we called them!
Imagine our surprise when we found the IMPS site online; and the very first
dog listed for adoption was a little black and tan female, out of California,
named "Tilly!"
We fell in love with her online, and after going through the adoption
procedure, we flew Tilly home to New England last Tuesday.
She's a beautiful little girl and it feels like she's been with us forever.
Maybe we were meant to have her all along. Here's a picture of Tilly and her
new brother, enjoying some treats from daddy at the breakfast table.
We're strong believers in adopting this way and giving good animals a good
home. We also share our house with three cats, all of whom love Tilly just
as much as we do!

Here is Nina in her new home ...they love her and Ellie the other dog they
adopted from IMPS.
Thank you lonnie for helping me make this work
Kim - IMPS CA
Note: For those who don't know, Kim is the IMPS Regional Coordinator in CA. Nina was
rescued last month and due to nerve damage, had to have her leg amputated. You can read her story
at http://www.minpinrescue.org/nina.html.
Nina is now in her new home in FL, where she will be loved and hopefully turned into a therapy
dog.

Mag, these are the first pictures of Maggie. She was found beside a freeway
in Tehachapi California. Her pelvis was shattered. IMPS agreed to accept her,
she was taken to LA for two surgeries, one on each side of her pelvis. All
photo's are of the same side, but she has matching incisions. She is on
crate rest for a month except to go to the bathroom. She is a week post op
today. She is already feeling much better, tried to run today :(. She is
very puppy like and is desperate to be free in the yard and house to
explore. She is about a year old. She will have to be spayed when her
pelvis is healed. She will return to LA for this surgery and then go up for
adoption. Linda

Hi Mag -- This was one of the most rewarding adoptions I have had the pleasure of being
involved in. The Brant Family (Mike, Katie, Mikala and Morgan) was a pleasure to work with.
I was hoping you could post the following letter and the pictures of Scooter with two members
of his new family, Mike and Mikala, to the Saluki site. Thanks!
Tracy :>)
Well I tell you, this dog impresses me more everyday. He sleeps under the covers with us.
Loves the car very much and sits between the carseats. At first, he wanted to be held by me
all the time. Now he comes over when he feels I am not busy. He has figured out how the
family works and has adjusted amazingly. I am shocked by how intelligent minpins really are.
He has become part of the family in only three days. He has started protecting the family from
anybody and anything he feels is not acceptible company!! The cats and he seem to have an
understanding about who goes where and when. Scooter is a great dog!!!!!!! He is way beyond
anything I dreamed of having through adoption or rescue!! I'm not sure getting a puppy and
raising it myself would have resulted in a better dog. Well, I am going to send you some more
photo's. It is kind of hard to get all of us together since someone has to hold the camera!
Thanks again for everything!!

Hi Mag
Her are some pictures of our first foster Clyde enjoying a mid-afternoon nap...
.. and of course the man, Scooter in the small crate that Clyde had when he came?
I have the really nice wire, open crate that's roomy and he picks this one? Go figure.
Could you put this on the site maybe? Thanks!!!

Could you post these pictures of Cornell's new family, and my daughter Mikayla saying goodbye? Cornell is
going to his forever home!!! Lori is a caring person who had rescued a Minpin, named Axel, from someone
who had been abusing the poor guy. She has the same heart we do for these guys. Cornell and Axel will be
buds. They hit it off pretty good at the park. We meet half way from each other (eight to nine hour drive
between us!!) at a park in Mt Shasta, California which turned out to be a good setting for the exchange. We
will miss you Cornell but good luck at your home!!

Hey Mag here are some photo's and the listing I sent to the people of
the list about Jazzy's adoption. Let me know if you want me to write a
different one or something. Do with it what you like and could we put
up these photo's for Dave. The nurses are going to check out the site
the next few days. Then he can see them. Thanks for your help.

Hey Mag,
What a busy weekend!!! Saturday was dedicated to Jazzy and her adoption and Sunday was all about
Mikayla and Malica. We had a Birthday party at the skating ring with all of Mikayla's buddies, and then
immediately headed to San Francisco Airport (SFO) to pick up Malica. Frazier, the wonderful man who
transported Malica on his flight out here, left a message to me saying he would not be in at 6 but 8:30. Found
out later that he had nothing but trouble getting Malica on the plane. They wouldn't let him use the crate
Nancy and he had obtained, so he had to get another one. Never the less, he missed the flight because of it.
Turns out the traffic on Sunday night here was insane!! We would not have been there on time, even if all
was good.
Well, Malica was worth the slight hassle!!! She is precious! Thought you might post these on the web
site!! We have not had Minpin puppies around till now and all I can say is how adorable and cute, yet she
runs the house already!! Clyde has excepted her as you can tell and Scooter runs from her! hehehe Thanks
Mag!!

Hey Mag,
Here is some good photo's of K.C.'s adoption and his new family!!
Melinda and K.C. immediately became buds and K.C. took to her immediately.
Not only did Melinda open her house to one of our little guys, she donated
an extra $200.00 to IMPS for Penny and Scrumptious. She had heard the story
of Penny and immediately felt obligated to help out for the surgery. We
thank Melinda immensely for her kindness and wish K.C. lots of love and
joy!! He truly is a wonderful dog.

Dear Mag,
Linda said I can email you some pictures of how well Maggie is doing.
She is a spit fire and an angel, making herself right at home. Sam and her
have become great pals, its like she was always a part of our family. I
think Linda is going to write up a little something on Maggie's how ordeal.
Hope the pictures are ok I'll send each one separate and with a little
explanation.
Thanks,
...Linda made this great poster of pictures featuring Maggie in her new home with us.

Hey Mag,
Here are some update photo's of our precious Minpins. As you can see
little Malica is growing nicely. She is turning into a beautiful little
girl!! Great coloring and her face is precious!! Scooter is enjoying his
window seat basket that mom got specially for him!! Who doesn't love that
crooked little nose!! They have become integral parts of our family and I
don't know what we did without these little guys!! Thanks to IMPS and all
for adding such wonderful companions to our home!! Hopefully, we can spread
some of this cheer to other houses with our volunteer efforts.

Here's some new pics of our furkids, Malica and Scooter. Malica was playing
with a slammer that she continuously dropped off the couch to make it chirp.
We tried Christmas pics...no way was Malica going to sit still and she
wanted to eat the Santa hat.
