We (my boyfriend and I) recently adopted Silken from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
We couldn't be happier with our new little baby and it appears she feel the same.
Here are some pictures, hopefully they're web page worthy.

Hi there,
My husband and I recently adopted our beautiful little girl Tinkerbelle from
IMPS.
When we adopted Tink we already had a 5 yr old male named Scout.
When we first brought her home Scout had no interest whatsoever in sharing
his space, or his humans with anyone. He was difficult to say the least.
Thanks for everything!
Attached is a picture of the 2 of them together, Tink is in red. (They are
wearing their new jackets, it's cold where we live).

Hi I am sending you some pic's Max a 10 year old min pin german pin mix I adopted from
IMPS in Dec. 2004. He has been a God sent and it seems
as though we were destined to be together.
He is very active with me and when my health is not good he is there for me too. One day I was
walking down stairs, I got dizzy and almost fell, if it weren't for Max. He was right there I was
able to put my hand on him to steady myself and he stayed with me step for step.
He loves agility, he loves the cat too - but most of all he loves my family and I, and we love
him.
Thank you all for you great work.
Cynthia H.

I thought you might like to read this speech. Emma is the 10 year old daughter of the family that adopted Dexter. She wrote this speech for school as if it was Dexter talking – very cute. The pictures are not included but by the speech you get a really good idea of what the pictures are like!
Enjoy.

Today, I would like to share a story with you...it's a rescue story and it's my rescue story.
First of all, I should introduce myself. My name is Dexter and I am 2 year old Miniature Pincher - Min Pin for short. Everyone calls dogs like me, the King of the Toys. I like being called a King.
Anyway...back to the rescue story. My human's name is Emma and I came to live with her in Port Dover about 9 months ago. I used to live in Toronto, but unfortunately, I went outside one day and I got lost and couldn't find my way back to my house.
Some people who run a shelter for lost animals picked me up. Here's a picture of me at the shelter. I was really scared. It sure doesn't look like me now. My backbone and ribs were sticking out and I had to sleep on a cement floor...brrrr...it was cold.
Luckily, someone at the shelter knew about the Min Pin Rescue Society and a really nice lady named Ruth came and picked me up. She lived in Ottawa and I stayed with her for a few weeks. I was still a little sad, because I really wanted to find my forever home.
Then one day Ruth put me in my crate and drove me in the car for a very long time. We ended up in Brantford and stayed for a short time at the home of a really nice lady named, Carol. She owned two other Min Pin dogs and I had fun playing with them. But then there was a knock at the door and that's when I met my human, Emma. I knew as soon as I met her that I had found my forever home. So, I went back into a crate and we drove to a town called Port Dover.
WOW...I love Port Dover. There's a beach and Emma has a boat. I love that boat. Here's a picture of me wearing my life jacket on the boat. Life jackets are very important.
I have a secret to tell you...(look around) I don't know how to swim. My life jacket has a handle on the top of it and Emma gets a real kick out of holding me closer to the water, because the closer to the water I get, the faster all 4 of my legs pedal and the farther I get away, the slower my legs pedal. I JUST CAN'T HELP MYSELF! Ya, ya...really funny.
I have something to brag about. Emma entered me in a dog show at the Turkeypoint Summer Festival. And you guessed it...I won first place. Here's my ribbon and a picture of us. There were a lot of really big dogs at that dog show. Even though I'm only 8 pounds, in my mind, I'm 100-and 8 pounds and I'm the biggest dog in the world. Work with me people - I'm small, but I'm mighty!!
I sure do miss the warm weather though. I don't like the winter. You see, I don't have much hair - less than a cat. But Emma knows what to do. She says that I have more clothes than her Build-a-Bear!
Before Emma takes me out for a walk, she puts on my sweatshirt, then my jacket and then...the worst part of all...my winter boots. The first time I wore them, Emma couldn't stop laughing. She says when I walk with my boots on, I'm high steppin' it! I really don't think it's that amusing.
There's one thing I forgot to tell you. I only have 3 feet. On my back right leg, I only have a stump - no toes. Emma calls it my nubbie and she always makes sure that it doesn't get scratched or too cold in the snow. She's a great human.
Speaking about being a great human, Emma takes me for a walk every day. I love going for walks. We King of the Toys have a lot of energy!
One of the things I love to do best is bark at the window. Sometimes when Emma is watching t.v., I'll hear a dog, so I run to the window and bark my head off.
Emma tells me it's only on t.v., but I know I'm protecting her. She seems to think it's funny. Hmmmm....I'll get that dog one day.
Speaking of something that's not very funny, we Min Pin's have very brittle bones. Our legs can get broken if we jump too high or too hard.
But, at the end of the day, I love to snuggle under the covers in bed with Emma. You see, Min Pin's were originally bred to be bed warmers for Kings and Queens.
So, my rescue story is a happy one. I've found my forever home. But, I have lots of friends still waiting for theirs. So, why don't you visit your local shelter. You never know...there may be a dog waiting there, just like me.

Buddy and Louby
They are certainly entertaining characters and we love them dearly. I could tell story after
story of the absolutely crazy things these dogs do. Both love camping and riding in the boat. It
is near impossible to keep Louby out of the water and she loves to try to catch fish on her own.
She considers them sushi. Originally we thought Buddy was a minpin/terrier cross but have been
advised by a breeder recently that he is a longlegged Jack Russell. Buddy is affectionately known
as our "Spinhead" and Louby is "the Bug" short for snugglebug. Both are master mouse catchers
although they hate to give up their prizes and we are constantly chasing them to retrieve the
critters they catch!

Tinkerbelle
After a week of this I didn't know what to do, I was feeling guilty and
thought we had made a poor decision to get another dog. We decided to just
stay patient and hoped that the weeks to come would be more positive. Well,
a month later the two of them are the best of buddies, they absolutely love
each other. Our male Scout is acting like a puppy again, Tink has brought
new excitement to his life, and they love to play, sleep, eat together.
Adopting Tink turned out to be one of the best decisions we've made. She
really has completed our little family.
The service you supply is a great one, we are so thankful for our new girl,
she is a perfect fit.
