Hi Mag,
Since the chat list is talking about iggies and min pins, I thought I send a couple of pics in. One is of my youngest iggie Dixie with her beloved Rambo (our oldest min pin at 13). The other is Dixie and two of our min pin girls, Pebbles and Brandy, taking a nap with their daddy.

Hi Mag,
I've not sent in a pic of our llamas, but I thought I'd send one in from our recent show in Colorado--just so folks can see what a heavy wool llama really looks like. This is my 6 year old stud, BAL Mojo (yep, they're registered just like dogs, horses, etc) after we won Reserve Grand Champion at the Grand Junction Grand Mesa Llama Classic in April.

Hi there,
I have been tuning into your site almost daily since September 2004 when we adopted Genghis Kahn (Kahn for short as well as various affectionate short forms).
He turned two in April and he has been a pure joy since day one. I want to thank you for your site as I have read your downloadable resource book over and over and reading the descriptions of your rescue dogs helps me understand where my fur baby fits in and what's very normal behaviour. He's tiny in comparison to some at 7 and 1/4lbs but he packs a huge punch as all min pins do. Kahn is my first indoor dog, but not my significant others. However, he works shift work so Kahn is more bonded to Mommy. His "Nana's" just adore him. His favourite thing to do is snuggle under the duvet, but under my shirt is even better and he will paw at you until you let him under. However, when it comes to playing no dog is too big and no kitten too small. Riding home from any friends or relatives that has pets is always funny as Kahn will collapse into a cuddly sleepy pile after playing so hard. The two 15 year old cats at home just don't play the same. Here's a couple pictures to share. His ears and tail are au natural. He's spoiled and loved. One day hopefully soon we will have a house so we can adopt a sibling for him. I'd love to foster, but I've been told no as we already know I would be a foster failure.

Hi im Bre and i am and always have been in love with miniature pinschers i dont kno how to join this thingy but it had that email so....thats me and max my old min pin he was mauled to death by a chow and a pit bull later on that night on 4/27/01 max was a wonderful dog he was a small size but he always thought he was just a huge monster of a dog that would kill anything a very hyper, active dog, jumping off the porch catching birds in the air, chaseing rabbits. He acted as if he had some gun powder but we loved him and miss him. We even had him burried in a pet cemitary in Lawernceburg TN. We just needed to honor him in some way so how about this!

Here's a picture of my little baby (she's actually overweight by a couple of pounds). Don't they all love to dig? She's the love of my life! Sorry the picture is so big... I'm not very computer literate on how to change picture sizes.

It's a sad day today. Rocky ruptured a disc in his back... It was
pressing against his spine costing him the use of his back legs. We
struggled with it for two weeks, hoping that since he was strong, he
would begin to recover. As it turned out he got worse and worse....
Crying out when picked up ... Unable to walk.
We had to take him to the vet yesterday to put him to sleep.
He was born may 28, 1999. He died october 11, 2006.
We are so fortunate to have been able to share his short life.
We'll miss him terribly.

"Kahn loves to be warm so putting him in a costume is not that big of a stretch, except maybe for the head piece... which after a few times of putting it on and off at my parents place and then at home, he seems to have found a comfort zone with it!" Although there are three "pin heads" in the picture, it's really just Kahn and photshop at work - I had to show him from the back and the front for full effect, lol. My boyfriend trys to be disgusted with the "costuming" but he was smiling too much to be convincible."

Dear Min Pin list,
I have been reading your stories and looking at the pictures for
quite awhile now, and I thought I'd share a picture of my 'family'.
The grumpy 12 year old, 13 pound cat is Phred, and he was a little
put out this summer when I came home with a little sister for him. I
did think of naming her Wilma, but in the end she was named Sweet P.
This picture is from this summer when she was 4 months old. This
saturday she will be 8 months old. She loves her mommy, her big
brother and her Aunt Christina, Uncle Bob and their kids, but we are
still working on the socialization and housebreaking. Oh, and we all
want to send you all a big konnichi-wa from Nagoya Japan.

Hello Meg my name is Eva pale I adopted Bella a few months ago from Lori here in San Diego California. I just wanted to say thank you all for all that you do with these beautiful dogs. When I was looking for a min pin of my own I almost bought one from a breeder and was intercepted by my sister that sent me an email of a news clip on how these poor dogs are handled by the breeders. That day I decided that adoption was the way to go and I ran in to imps by accident. I was interested in a pair of min pins that went pretty fast then I saw a picture of Bella….love at first sight, that's all I can say. Lori took the long drive over to our house and that was it for us. We had a few minor things that we needed to do to "min pin proof" our home but Lori let us keep her that day. I never knew how people could say that they love their dogs like their children until I met Bella. I noticed that very few of the min pins listed on here are compatible with small children but I have to say that Bella was made for our family. I have a 2 year old named Isabella, I was worried that it would be a problem but to my surprise Bella acts like her mommy. Every night Bella follows my husband to her crib to make sure that she is okay then retires in to our bed, she loves to cuddle with me (my husband is a tad jealous). She is so well behaved, potty trained, does not beg, never darts when the door is open, never barks and is always on her best behavior when we take our weekly trip to the dog parks. We are in a min pin meet-up group and Bella was able to reunite with her wonderful foster mom Lori.
I can't even begin to describe the love that I feel for this lil dog, just like my children she is the light of my life, so I guess you can count me in as one of "those" that says "I love my dog like I love my kids". Thank you all again for all that you do!!!!!!
Eva

I can't believe no one has sent me any pictures this week. So I thought it was probably time to post pics of my 2 puppies - they haven't graced these pages for many years now! Above is Frodo (aged 14) under the coffee table (his current fav spot), patiently waiting for dinner time.
And below is Kirra (aged 12) - she's more a pillow on the sofa dog.
