Mag, could you please put this letter and pics up on the web site...this is
one of our rescues from Florida. He WAS very timid and skittish but looks
like he's found the perfect family and he knows he's home~!!
Lonnie
Dear Lonnie,
I am writing to thank you once again for Kennedy. He has been a great
addition to our family. In the last 48 hours Kennedy has become a whole new
dog. He is less timid with Robert and he is attached to me wherever I go.
He sleeps underneath the covers with us at night or on top of our heads,
whatever suits his fancy at the time. He is eating well, and alot of his
redness and bumps are going away. He loves to go out on our porch and in
the yard and just lay in the grass. He seems be potty trained and has not
had an accident in the house.
He is having a ball with Miles. The two are constantly playing with one
another. Although he does'nt quite know what to do with toys yet, he
watches us throw a toy for his brother and happily chases after him. He
also turned our house into a racetrack, I guess he is practicing sprinting
for the doggie olympics. He and Nina are not on the best of terms as of
yet, but they are working on their differences and will soon become good
friends. We are teaching him sit and stay. He is learning "sit" extremely
fast.
We have included some pictures. We hope you enjoy them. Please let me know
if you dont get them. Until next time
Juli & Robert

Here are pics of Rudy3 now renamed Rocky by his new parents. He has a great home and looks
forward to traveling. All 5 pins were on the bed and Rudy is the one laying near the pillow with stick out
ears. Such a life... Robin

she a cutie?

Frank and Barbara adopted Corky from Cindy in Florida....
Just thought we would update you with some pictures of Corky. He is so sweet and loveing, by the way he sleeps all
night under the covers. We will find out shortly how he is with babies, we are expecting in March. He is so cute
because he lays in Barbara's lap and sniffs on her tummy and cuddles with her. He spends most of the time in my lap
when I am home. We now have a pet door for all the little critters and he is very happy and spoiled!
Thanks,

Here is a picture of the soon to be world famous "BoomBoom Taylor"....
OK, maybe not world famous, but a whole bunch of people know her story.
It's very difficult, 'pert near impossible' to get a picture of her when
she is awake. I happened to have my camera with me as I was returning
from work and she was just standing there waiting for her turn NOT to
get petted, so I was able to click one off. I happen to think that she
is a perfect looking little girl... notice I did not say that she was
perfect in her behavior or anything else. Whoddathunk that she would
still be with us (since September 2000)?

These are pics of Pixie and my gang. Pixie was a rescue from Manatee
County AC who had a collasped trach. She stayed with us for a month or
two before going to a diff. foster home. She passed away from pneumonia
a couple of months later. She was a real sweetheart despite her horrible
life pumping out puppies. We miss her alot.

Hi Mag,
I am attaching a few pic of Rusty and Rambo. Rusty is a very sweet big boy!! He rides in
the car very well, is crate trained and seems to be housebroken so far. He is playful
for a short period but mainly is a low key kinda guy. He would be a great companion for someone
who takes trips in the car or is a truck driver. Rusty was turned in to a shelter when his owner
went into a nursing home and could not care for him, along with his pal Rambo, who is a min pin
mix. He looks like a wirey haired min pin. He is the same size as Rusty and looks alot like
Benji. Rambo is also very sweet and well behaved, likes car rides is housebroken and low key.
Rambo is currently being treated for heartworms. These boys will make a wonderful companion for
their new home!!! You can see more of Rusty at the IMPS website at http://www.minpinrescue.org.
Rambo is not an IMPS dog but can be privately adopted from me at GRYHND30@aol.com
Thanks

Hi Mag,
I recieved this today from one of our Canadian volunteers that spent part of
the winter here in Florida and was a tremendous help to us. I thought this
email and the attached pic was really interesting and thought that you might
enjoy it also.

Hi - How is everything with all of you? - I came across a painting (in a book) from Henri Toulouse-Lautrec he did in 1891
titled "Lady with a dog" The dog resembles a Min-Pin, that's 110 years ago. Maybe the MinPins then had white hair on the
chest.

Hi Mag here is a picture of Timmy who was just adopted by the ellisons in
Dunedin. He is chillin' on their couch!!! What a wonderful family he has!!!
I have to talk to my husband, but I am pretty certain we will love to meet Cali and maybe adopt her, if the two
"old folks" don't have any objections (Tina and Timmy, I mean. They are both very chilled out and enjoy each
other's company!)
I did hug Tina and Timmy for you, he still seems to wait for you to come back, it seems. He looks out the
front window and gets excited by every car that comes by or pulls up.
Timmy definitely took a liking to Tina's dog bed in my husbands office. He stayed under the desk for hours
today, snuggled up in the dog bed by his feet. He's there right now as I am typing this...
Enclosed is another picture, I'll keep them coming, if you don't mind.
Thanks again, maybe we'll see you soon - with Cali? Jeffrey is not home right now, I will ask him as soon as
I can!
Bye, Claudia

Hi Mag these are pictures & a note from The Goldberg's who adopted our
precious foster Gigi. Thought these would be nice for the site!!!
Hello Katie! Thought you would enjoy some picture of us at Paws on Parade w/ some of my
new friends (Yellow Labs - Abbey & Sandy). We had a good time; a little chilly & Lexus
spent most of her time in Jeff's sweater. Gigi on the other hand wanted to say hello to
everyone! She got a ton of stuff - bandanas, balls, treats, chews..... it was great! Only saw
2 other Min-Pins!
Gigi was sizing up the agility course; I know she would be great at it, she is fast and so
alert, unfortunately they were only letting the pro's run the course... what do they know?
Hope all is going well, enjoy the pics.

My foster boy, Knight, went to his new home Sunday. Here he is with his new
boy, Matt, and his new doggie brother, Charger! Knight's on the right. Matt
met Knight at an IMPS booth a week ago, and fell in love with him. He and
his dad were looking for a min pin for Matt's mom, who had been missing
Charger ever since their divorce. Charger does visit sometimes, so he was
there to greet Knight on his first day, and they got along just fine. The
other picture is of Knight in the arms of his new mom, Patty. She is so
happy to have a dog of her own again, and I know Knight will get lots of
love and attention from the whole family.
The last picture is of Knight and his Foster Dad, Mark -- Knight is the
biggest lover boy I've ever met, and loved to snuggle with Mark, as you can
see!

Mag,
Here's a few pictures of Brandi. Brandi (her name was Lady but we changed it) came from
IMPS of Florida. Tammy and Jeff were her foster parents. Here are just 2 poses of Brandi with Santa. These were taken at the Humane Society:
one with her Christmas shirt and one without (naked - lol).
Thank you,

FL - Pics of Atilla and her new Dad
This is Attilla... the perfectly named 'pin and her new dad,
Steve. You have to understand something, I used an entire roll
of film trying to capture a picture of her not being a blur
before Steve arrived to take home his new best girl. When he got
here, she snarled and growled and carried on like a banshee.
Suddenly, as it is time for them to leave, she cops this pose.
It was almost like "Hey, my new dad is wearing a raspberry shirt,
so here's one for you." The only two pictures of her that were
NOT a blur, were these two raspberry shots. I went to give her a
good-bye hug.... and she wanted no part of me. She had her man
and that was that. I think this is a match made in Heaven...
Attilla came with her own life jacket and Steve didn't even bat
an eye when I told him that she had expressed an interest in
having her own 17' Boston Whaler. Steve is a diver so this may
be his excuse to get a boat... to keep Attilla happy. Bogie was
really happy to see this little girl leave... she failed to
worship the ground he walked upon and that is just NOT allowed.
Puppies are soooo humbling.
