We are looking for a home for Tei-Tei and Peanut due to some unforeseen
issues and no fault of Jane or the dogs. These are the two Ohio dogs and
they will need to go together....I thought I had homes today with two
different people but they are reacting to the age and they didn't go. Will
continue to work on this.

My name is Carl Donato, My wife Lynn and I have recently adopted Tara Sue
from you orginization. I received your e-mail address from Petie. Tara is
doing wonderfully, she has become a very welcomed member of our family. We
all love her very much. She has become a daddy's little girl and follows me
practically every where. Attached is a photo of her with her new sister Taffy
who was also rescued from the humane society here near our home. We've had
her for about 4 yrs. now. Her and Tara are getting along just fine. I not
sure of the ordeal we went through getting Tara but I can tell you it has
been worth it, she is just a little sweetheart. Everything we had hoped for.
I'm not sure what else there is to tell you if there is anything we can
answer for you please don't hesitate getting in touch with us.
God bless to all of you and thank you all very much,

I recently rescued a min pin through the IMPS in Indiana. His name was Nicky when we got him, but we are calling him
Jack. He is a six month old, red male with a docked tail and natural ears. He was an owner give-up saying that he was
not potty trained and too energetic! Well - he has come to live with me, my husband and our 1 1/2 year old black and rust
female named Lola!
It was a little bit of a rough adjustment to begin with since Lola had to show Jack who is boss! But
since than it has been smooth sailing! Jack is so sweet and I can hardly believe anyone could give him up! We feel so
blessed to have him in our lives! So I thought I would share some pictures so everyone can meet my new baby boy!

Mag,
Hi how are you doing? I am sending you a picture of my new foster for the web page.
Mandy is a sweet little girl. He high energy level belays the fact that she is 5 years old. At 7 pounds, you would think that 6
pounds are pure energy. She is very alert and inquisitive. After prancing throughout the house, she love's to bury herself
in an afghan on the sofa for a nap. In the time that she has been here, she has had only one accident and night she
sleeps in her crate with no complaints. I'm sure she would make a great dog for a person that can channel her
energies. However, that person would have to put up with hundreds of puppy kisses a day.
Thanks

Hi there!
I apologize for it taking so long to get with you again. I just wanted to let you know how
Barkley was doing. He and Amelia (my other Minpin) are getting along very well. It took about 1
day and they started playing together and getting used to each other. Now they are the best of
friends, always playing (and sleeping) together. He went to the vet today (for some vaccinations
and a check-up) and he weighs 5 1/2 lbs! When we took him to the vet right after we brought him
home, he was just about 4 lbs, so he is certainly growing!
I have enclosed some current pictures of him. I have been very busy and not had the oppurtunity
to put these on my website matt.maskill.com, but I hope to in
the very near future. I have also started a journal for Barkley that will be posted there also
(keep checking back every now and again for website updates)
Would it be possible to forward this message to Angie? I told her I would be in touch with her
and I wanted to let her know that Barkley is doing very well.
I would like to thank you and Angie again for all of your help (from gathering information to
helping us make the arrangements for bring Barkley home)!
Keep up the good work!!!!
Take Care!

Hi Mag. Pam forwarded some pics of Danny who I adopted from Loraine J(fostermom), in MO, via Tim Tyler,
Detroit. It was so exciting I filled out the application, received email from Pam informing me that IMPS would keep
me posted as to when a MIN PIN would be available for me. Well, several email's from Pam and Tim and within a
couple of days my husband John and I (Carol Lee) were on our way to meet with Tim Tyler in Okemos, MI. He was
picking up Danny(aka Rajah) from someone in Lansing. We met in a parking lot off I96. Well we all feel instantly in
love with Danny, lots of puppy kisses for me and a long walk on his lease with my husband while I finished filling
out the adoption papers. We seemed to bound immediately, so after taking care of the paper work is was in his
new crate and sheep skin blanket, after of course some treats and a drink of water to Greenville, MI. He cried a little
on the way, probably was tired of being crated he had been on the road for a couple of days having come from St.
Louis, MO. He settled down quickly and was on his way to meet his three new sisters. We have a two year old, 21
lb Cocker Spaniel, named Buffy; a 7 year old, 57 lb Britany Spaniel, named Teita also adopted with canine lupus,
and a 4 year old Irish Setter, 60 lb named Holly. We pulled into the yard to let his new family out of the house to
greet him, they were all so very excited, there were a couple of miner confrontations by Holly, she is definitely the
Alpha dog of our family, then comes Danny, Buffy, and Teita who does not really care she just wants to mother all of
them.
It is now two weeks from today that we adopted Danny, he is a wonderful pet, sweet as can be and has adjusted
well. He has been trained with the invisible fence and learned within a day to stay within the confines of our 4 acres
of lawn. It is great to watch him run and jump chasing back and forth with his sisters. Buffy and Danny are 21 & 22
lbs respectively, they play together all the time. It was an adjustment for Buffy to share he toys with Danny but now
they play side by side chewing away at their nyla bones which of course we got two new ones for each, and they
have a basket full of toys to choose from.
Danny loves to cuddle on my lap and give lots of kisses, typical of a Min Pin. I had raised two Min Pins, black & tan,
Lucy was bought from a private breeder at 8 weeks old, Tiffany was one of her pups out five that she had had before
I had her spay. I enjoyed their company for 9/7 years til they both passed away with cancer two summers ago, the
vet could not understand they were so young but it happens. I have missed them both so very much, they were my
little companions we used to go back and forth the girls, my Daughter from Fl to our home state of NJ all the time in
the Motorhome that we had. I have lots of good memories of them and just never got over the desire to acquire
another Min Pin they just have a special personality.
Well back to Danny, he has a new lease and collar, new bowls and a car seat harness. we installed a doggy door
for them so if the weather should be rainy when I let them out they can right back in to a warm room with their crates
& pillows. His larger sisters spend most of their time during the day running in and out of the house through their
new doggy door chasing squirrels. Danny & Buffy's favorite spots are the entire house. Danny goes to sleep on my
recliner or burrows under the quilt on our bed, Buffy just stretches out in the living room with her favorite toys. They
both just love their toys, Danny plays all by himself throwing the ropes or toys in the air catching them. He is also
doing well with his walks on his lead. I am preparing him for my visit east to visit with my family, he & Buffy will be
coming with me. They will be able to view the sceniary from the back seat of the car or just stretch out and enjoy the
ride. None the less I am looking forward to showing them both off. Danny and Buffy now sleep back to back next to
me on the bed at night, it is amazing how quick they learned to enjoy each others company.
He has been to the vets, now has his MI license, we had all his Id chip name & address changed to us including at
the vets in MO. The vet said he is just delightful and healthy. He seems to be about 9/12 mos old both vets agree to
this age.
I want to extend a Big Thank You to all the IMPS people that have made it possible for me to now have a sweet,
loving, little Min Pin again as part of our family. I found your site just by chance on the internet, knew there was a
Greyhound rescue but never dreamed there was a Min PIn rescue. I hope that in the near future I can be of some
help in fostering or transporting min pin that need rescue and care before they are adopted. Thank you again, I will
be taking a couple of family pics this week of Danny and his sisters and us with them. Will send as soon as they
are taken. Carol Lee Berry, Greenville, MI
Mag: Just a second forgot to explain Danny & Buffy will be wearing a safety seat belt harness, I bought another one
for Danny last week plus I will be taking a large crate for them to sleep in at night, of course I am sure they will be in
the bed with me! Here is a pic of their sister Holly.

Oscar (AKA Kekas,Tito) is back in our IMPS foster home. He has been here for 3 days and has not had one
accident in the house since he has been back. He answers to Tito so we have been calling him that. Tito is a big
boy of 20 pounds and is about 15" tall. He has lots of energy and would do well in a lively home. Tito does like
adventures so a fenced in yard would be a must for him. He is a lover boy though and loves to sit and or sleep on
your lap. He is crate trained and will go to his crate when he feels it is time for bed. Tito is very quiet and non
aggressive. Back to Top of this Page

Muncy is a red intact male that was picked up at a no kill shelter. He is 11" tall and about 7 and half pounds. He is
going to the vet Thursday for check up and neuter. The lady at the shelter said she thought he was potty trained. He
would bark and cry until she let him out to their outdoor park area. He has a 3" scar on his back and a smaller scar
on a white patch between his shoulders. The reason for these scars is unknown, but shelter believes it may have
come from a car accident or abuse. Regardless, they do not slow him down in any way. He is full of energy and
mischief. Shelter believes him to be 1 - 2 years old. Muncy seems to get along with other animals and does not act
afraid of them.

Mag,
I didn't know if you wanted these pictures today or not. They are so sweet.
These poor little MinPin's came from a Backyard Breeder that was closed down yesterday. They are very sweet and
want only to love and be loved. It is amazing how gentle they are to us after living in the horror they have to live at
human hands. One of the girls found our food container outside and we think she has gorged herself. They lived in
crates and was never allowed out of them so we know there will house training issues with them.
They are going to the vet tomorrow and I will give you more info on them. The vet said that the girl with the worst coat
(all of them might have mange) has a heart murmur. The murmur could be from many problems including stress
and malnutrition. We will see what the vet says tomorrow.
Thanks

Karen says that Pee Wee is very attached to her sister Skippy. She wants to sleep with her
sister at night and is very close to her. Karen would like to see the two sisters adopted together
for Pee Wee's sake.
Lucy was named Lucky at first but they changed her name because she reminded them of Lucile Ball.
LOL she is very fun loving and loves to sit on your lap. However, she does have a very funny side
to her.
Caesar is a sweetheart who loves to play ball. He is full of life and love though and will be a
happy addition to your family.
None of these guys are potty trained so there will be some issues with there. Karen and Jay are
working on it though.
Thanks

Simba is a six year old cropped and docked red
rescue from the Humane Society. His owners turned him in because
they were moving out of state and couldn't take him with them.
He is quite the little gentleman and loves to ride in the car.
He is quiet, polite, and has the typical minpin playfulness. He
is an equal opportunity lover-man or woman, it makes no
difference. Keep a close eye on your popcorn when are watching
TV at home, because he is easy to spoil. At six years of age, he
has the energy of a two year old and will wear you out before he
tires out. This little guy will work his minpin magic on you in
the first few minutes you meet him.

Mexico aka Tuesday has joined a very loving home. He has 1 brother, Barney
(red, 3 years) and 2 sister, Paycheck (6 years, larger black and tan) and
Credit (1 year, the chubby black and tan). Tuesday and Credit are only 1
month apart, so they pay together the most. Tuesday's been able to get the
old maid (Paycheck) and the boss (Barney) to play with him as well. Tuesday
is full of energy. He's always happy to see us, no matter how long we've
been gone. I never thought I'd have a min pin that needed more attention
than Paycheck, but I have one now.....

Mag, this is a picture of Simon who was rescued by Sue Overly from the Human
Society in Mo. after a Puppymill was shut down....Hooray. According to his
paperwork he was in very bad shape when they recieved him. He made a long
trek to get to me. Sue took him from Mo. to Ky to Connie who kept him for
awhile then Kristin from In. picked him up from Connie kept him several days
until she and I could meet to get him. He is coming around and learning to
manuever a house. He is so funny with the TV sometimes.... like he never saw
one and will just stare at it. He actually got on the sofa last night with
me and under the blanket with 3 other Minpins..... that is a big step for him
He is being adopted by Geraldine and Pam who want to work with him to build
confidence and give him all the love that was never given to him in his life
in a Mill......... I really believe we will be hearing wonderful things about
this big little boy. As my husband says he really is a
sweetheart....... thanks again for your efforts on behalf of all our little
rescue..... Hugs Pam
Mag this is from Simons new to be owners..... I thought it was so cute.... can
we get it on the website for our Puppymill Rescue..... Simon...... thanks Pam
