Hi my name is Ellen. On sat.sept the 15th we made a trip from our home in Ontario to a min pin picnic in Indiana to adopt our new little girl Paige. I have some pics and would love to put them on the website and say thank you to all of the volunteers who help these dogs and give people like me a chance to love these precious little dogs who need it most. We are very happy with our new little girl and she will be loved forever!! Here are some pics, one us at the picnic (me,my son and daughter, Paige and min pin friends), one of me and Paige on the way to her new home, one of Paige and her new daddy (at the picnic), and some of Paige and her new brothers and sister at her FOREVER home!. Thank you and let me know how this works.

We adopted a pair of min-pins from you some 5 or six years ago. Not sure if you remember them or not, but their names were Ellie and Emma and came as a pair. Both had been through many homes and apparantly sent back each time. We adopted them and ended up keeping them. Took us a long while to break through to both little girls, but in the end we did. Ellie has become the most playful pup we've got and absolutely loves the laser pointer we got for her. Emma took much longer, but she finally accepted that she wasn't going anywhere and started showing affection herself. Both are doing well right now. Emma is developing arthritis in her hips and shoulder and is losing some movement, so we have to carry her up and down the stairs now. Ellie is in great shape and still runs around like a puppy. Both are healthy and happy though. Thanks for allowing us the pleasure of owning and knowing these two. Our oldest min-pin had to be put down recently due to a brain tumor, so we were reminded exactly of how much these little balls of fur mean to us, which is a lot more than we'd realized. We just wanted to make sure to thank you and IMPS for giving us the opportunity to have and love them.

Hello All,
Just wanted to let all know that I have retired from the Navy (Sept 08). April and I are still in Illinois along with our Pins; Phoebe, Piper (IMPS 2004) and Spike (IMPS 2005). They are doing very well. Spike, of course, is still a hand full like one would expect from a male Pin - Perma-Puppy :-). Oddly enough, Piper the smallest of the three has asserted herself as the dominant one of the group. Phoebe and Spike are graying up nicely, while Pipes looks the same as she did 4 years ago, albeit a tad more 'husky'. Attached are some pics, please post these to IMPS IN/IL 'Success Stories' for all to see. Haven't heard of a picnic since '05. Please keep us updated on the next one.
Thanks,

Hey Paula,
Things are really going great with Jade and Dino as a new "couple." Dino is really starting to grow fond of her company and trying to play "chase" her for fun. Jade is also starting to pick up toys to try and spark his attention or the attention of one of the adults. This is really working out how I had envisioned/hoped and I wanted to say thanks again. I don't know if I sent you this, but here are some recent cute photos I took of the two of them.
P.S. - I always catch Jade sneaking kisses to Dino, which he starts to play and wag his tail (stub)!! ; )
Jade also met my sister's dog "Rocky" the other day, which Rocky LOVES her!! He is an "only child" at home, so he loves to have "play dates" with Dino and Jade. Thanks again!!
Carla

"Hi my name is Skittles. I was found a ditch with a broken hip. Whoever found me turned me over to IMPS. I wieghed only 4lbs. I got a wonderful foster mommy named Julie who took me to the Dr. and helped nurse me back to health. Today I live with my forever daddy and mommy and weigh 8 lbs. I think I might be spolied because my new mommy mixes baby food with my food and feeds me with a spoon. I love to play a chill with my daddy and my foster sister Gretchen. Thank you IMPS for giving me a chance."

Hello,
I just wanted to write to let you know how IMPS helped me find my best friend Murphy.
Murphy was in foster care with IMPS in Illinois in 2002. I had recently lost my family pet, and as a young veterinary student was looking for my very first pet of my own.
I saw Murphy on your website, he was a big handsome boy, MinPin crossed with something (though I never figured out what!) and they thought he was 5 or so years old. I knew he was the one I had been looking for. I adopted him and his foster mom brought him to Canada to live with me.
It took some time for us to get to know each other. He had been through alot of changes, and I had to be patient, but soon Murphy began to flourish and show his true personality. Murphy became my constant companion for the following 7 years. He was with me as I made my way through the trial and tribulations of vet school. He was with me when I met my husband and moved to Toronto. He made the trip with me down to Arizona where we lived for 2 years. He was with my when I moved back to Canada, staying in hotels in Aspen and the Chicago Hilton along the way! And he was with me when I bought my first home. He was my best friend.
He was such a little trooper, and endured twice daily pills and insulin injections for 4 years. Diabetes took his vision, but you would never know it - he got along just fine as long was we were together!
Last September, Murphy developed bladder stones, and became obstructed. I unblocked him, but sadly 3 weeks later it happened again. I knew after all of our wonderful years together it was time to finally say goodbye. As I write this I am still crying.
I just wanted to write this to thank you for bringing us together - for allowing me to rescue this little dog who made such a huge impact on my life.
Sincerely,

Success story - Murphy
I always joked that Murphy and I were lucky to have found each other. He kept me sane by showing me constant love, and he seemed to give even more when he knew I needed it the most. And as the years passed Murphy developed several medical conditions. "Thank goodness your mommy is a vet" I used to tell him! With a long list of medical conditions, including hypothyroidism, bad knees, diabetes, Cushings disease and cataracts I lovingly told everyone he was my little lemon!
