Hi Mag,
Here is a photo of Bella's new family who drove all
the way from CO to KS to pick her up. She has a 2 yr
old minpin brother named Jack. Angie and Kent were so
happy to get her.

Hi Mag,
Here are pictures of my crate set up for agility trials. Nancy G.
made the crate covers for me; I already had the table and chair
purchased at a silent auction a year ago. It took a bit of web
searching to find the red, white and blue mat! And, yes, the dogs
run with red, white and blue collars as well!

Mag, I don't think I told the list, but Bonnie's adoption has been a
huge success and I have pictures to add to the photo site of her and her
adoptive parents. The fist picture is of the new Mom, Corkey, holding
Bonnie, who is being sniffed by her new baby brother Bodacious, while
her not-much-younger brother Micro smiles for the camera (both being
held by Dad, David).
The second one is of Corkey trying to hold on to
both Bonnie and Bo Bo, as Micro looks on. The third one is my favorite,
Bonnie is actually smiling. That's when I knew it was going to be okay
for me to leave her with them. That is one happy family..... and still is
from all reports.
Thanks, Kathy

Hi Mag,
This is from Danny's (now Tater) new family. The picture is of
Tater and his dad Jim. Please post on the website for me. Jim
drove 600 miles round trip Friday and Saturday to pick Tater up!
Sue in KS
Sue,
Jim and Tater (temporary name possibly) are both tired from the trip but
doing well.
Tater and the other dogs were introduced. A couple of growls but no big
deal.
We've already gone on a walk....two ponies, six dogs, two cats, Jim and I.
Tater is a sweetheart. We really love him. He is always looking for Jim.
it's just what we had hoped for.
Thank you sooooo much in assisting us during this difficult time. Tater is a
very welcome addition to our house. We can never replace Max and still
miss him terribly. Tater helps ease the hurt.
Thanks again! We'll send better pics as we get them developed.
Oh! You were right on the food....no more than 30 seconds and it was
gone!

Hi Mag,
Here are some pics for you to post. The first one is
of Bitsy with King. King is my largest minpin and
Bitsy, is well, the smallest.
This next one is of Bitsy by herself. It really shows
how delicate she is.
The last one is of Mambo, who I adopted from Cindy in
WA and my daughters chihuahua Sox.

Here they are.
This is Percy, a refugee from a puppymill who came into rescue at
the age of 12. He was unable to walk because he had spent his
entire life in a cage!
He now can even navigate stairs with no
problem, and lives in the lap of luxury as the apple of his new mom's
eye (Michelle Brown) in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He dearly loves
Michelle, and is shown here even helping her out with household
chores!

Hi Mag,
Here are some recent pics of Hopes pups. They are now
4 weeks old and have learned they have a voice,
learned how to play with each other and are starting
to eat dry food. What fun they are!

Mag,
After the conversation on the saluki list about the
pic with my 13 minpins, I had to see how many I could
get in a photo tonight. With the help of my family,
we were able to corral 17 minpins, 1 chihuahua and 1
minpin/chi mix into this shot.
Can you find them all?

Mag,
These pics are from my mother in law, Jane B. She has two IMPS babies, Eva Diva Salami
(from CA) and Prince Harley Higgings Hughes McPin (KS surrender baby). My father in law
insists that all small dogs must have big names. Enjoy!
Thanks!!

Pepe was rescued from a Kansas puppy mill over 2 years ago. (This puppy mill was 1 of 3
featured in a news story in one of the programs like 20/20 or 60 minutes, 2001.) His age was
estimated around 5-6 years. When Imps took him in, he was malnourished &underweight, had
heartworm larvae, and mange. After a good long stay at the vets, he was ready for adoption. I
fell in love with him the minute I saw his picture. He came to live with my husband and I early
to mid February 2001. At that time, he shook from fear almost constantly and reacted negatively
to loud noises, esp. metal, and disliked going through any door, esp. the automatic ones.

Hi Mag,
Please put these pictures of my "fur kids" on the web site. Panner (IMPS rescue 2001)
Squirt and Fresca. We all miss our Little Percy :-(
Finally……………a picture of Panner. I adopted Panner from IMPS on 02/23/01. He was a puppy
mill dog for 6 years. Panner has turned into a wonderful little boy who loves his family,
treats and snuggling! We are very proud of our Little Panner. He really misses Little Percy
a lot. Panner dances and sings to me, especially when he is hungry or wants to go for a walk.
He has learned to be a wonderful family member.

Hi Mag!
Could you put these pictures of Kokomo (was Tashy) on the website. We just adopted her from
Sue Mohr. Kokomo is a puppy mill refugee. She is very tiny! She is coming around nicely. We
have only had her since St Patty's day. We love her so much!
Thank you,

Pepe's success
Wed, 5 Mar 2003 15:45:42 -0700 - from Kris
He has grown up with pug twins and with the help from his sisters he has learned to play, wrestle,
chase, and cuddle in den-like fashion. (He acts like a 2-year-old not a mature dog of 7 or 8).
Best of all he knows that this is his home and he protects it mightily, standing his ground
against any invader, large or small. He has bonded with my husband, Troy, just this passed
year. At night Pepe sleeps under the covers curled up next to Troy. Last he has learned to
trust. He is a well-behaved dog who still shakes some in a new place and likes to be held.
