Hi everyone,
We now have Moose and he is a sweetheart. We picked him up this A.M. from
Jude with SpayLee. She got him from the shelter yesterday afternoon and kept
him overnight. He is blk/tan, neutered (Thursday) male who stands 14" tall
and weighs aprox 20-25 lbs. Even though he is oversized he is really pretty
and to my inexperienced eyes has excellent confirmation. He isn't good on a
leash AT ALL but he responds well (better) with a choke chain. On our way
back into town we stopped off at the respective adoptive parents house to see
how their male dog and Moose would respond to one another. They did GREAT, we
were there for an hour and there were NO FIGHTS, YEAH~!!!!! The soon to be
adoptive parents fell in love with him and can't wait till I let them have
him tomorrow. I didn't leave him tonight b/c I didn't have the IMPS contract
with me so...
Mark another one up for IMPS

Sorry, I forgot to mention that Moose was the FIRST dog EVER to be released
to a rescue group from this KILL SHELTER. We owe many thanks to Jude with
SpayLee for this dogs life!

We all owe a VERY big thank you to Lonnie because Judy trusted Imps so much
that she signed for Moose even though her husband said he was out of there
if she brought home another rescue.....Angie had planned to take him and
her husband said something similiar...so in a panic I called Lonnie and she
drove a long way to save him and all these marriages:-).

Hi everyone,
Well, Florida's latest rescue has left for his new home. The new owner were
so excited to get him they were knocking on my door EARLY this morning. They
came with a new crate, collar, leash and doggie treats. They watched all of
his antics and he gave them LOTS of kisses. It was almost as if he knew that
they were his new parents. It was just too cool watching the three of them.
They have renamed him "Buddy", they felt he just didn't look like a Moose. I
thought that was a compliment to him (Buddy) since their other MinPin is very
small (10"). Thank you Petie for all of your care and concern for this big
guy.

This is the latest update on how Buddy (Moose-Ft. Meyers rescue) is doing in
his new home. Cyndi has phoned me a few times and she is HOOKED and her only
complaint is with his housebreaking. I gave her a few suggestions on this but
if anyone has any help on this one I will forward them on to her. Oh yea, her
other complaint is that this 25# dog feels that he has to lay on top of her
instead of beside her~!! LOL
<<buddy is getting along fine here i really think he's happy, him and puppy
are becoming buds. they both have to sleep with me one on each side . i
bought a crate for buddy and puppy they seem to like it. buddy is a very
alert dog. he is also very nosy if anyone is out side he has to go and
investigate . his only bad habbit is when i lay on the couch he has to lay on
top of me. thats going to be a hard one. was wondering how to get him to
control his bathroom skills without caging all the time i like him out when
i;m home so we can spend time together but if he has to go he just goes. and
doesnt tell me..even if i take him out he will dhis business but if he has to
go again he will just go. but if he's in the cage he can hold it.. i blocked
off the rest of the house so he has to stay in the same room with me but
that doesnt help he will go well the boys are playing have a nice day>>

<<took buddy to the vet for his first visit he did good although the vet is
concerned he looks like he has some sort of mange but the doctor says it
could be nerves from his experiance so we are keeping an eye on him he does
have two eye infections we have medicine for that and he got his shot the
shelter said to muzzle him but he didnt need it. he was a very good boy.
although he wanted to fight with all the other dogs there.. there was a BIG
dog the size of a saint bernard he thought he was going to beat him up. he
was so funny i had to keep him in the crate cause i couldnt hold him any more
he scratched up my arms..just wanted to let all know my buddy even protected
me from the mean doctor.. he was surprised when he found out it was his
doctor not mine. my buddy is doing real well he doesnt go poo in the house as
much he is holding it longer than two hours... i just wanted to keep everyone
up to date again thank you so much for him he is my sweety. and we love him
alot..>>

Sorry it took me so long to get these to you~!! He may be oversized but I
thought he was very pretty and regal. The lady in the pic is his adoptive mom.
