Our Success Story - Ruby - 20 Jul 09
Mon, 20 Jul 2009 23:41:02 EDT - from Rose
My family and I adopted Ruby last May 2008 from Joe and Kelli of Staten Island, NY. We loved her from the minute we saw her. My main concern was how our Manchester Terrier, Guinness was going to accept her. Guinness had been the only dog in the family and had been spoiled rotten from 4 months old. She has not only won Guinness' heart but ours as well. Now we have 2 spoiled rotten dogs!
Kelli and Joe have been to my home numerous times and have been very helpful in trying to help us help Ruby. We have also found great friends in Kelli and Joe. I applaud their dedication and the work they do. I wish I could do it myself.
Ruby went from living in a crate to a castle; it doesn't matter that she sometimes barks a lot due to anxiety. How anyone could have given her up is their loss and our gain. She is so sweet and gets lots of kisses all day and night and she just loves it!
Sincerely,
Rose and Family

Mag, can you please post this picture of Rosie on the Saluki picture page. I don't know if you remember her or not, but Rosie had glaucoma and was dangerously overweight when we pulled her from the shelter.
My husband and I just got married in July and Rosie was part of the wedding.... We are so happy we adopted her, she is certainly one of a kind.
