Here it is everyone!  Much of the detail is not able to be seen.  The quilt is so big we had to hang it from the roof of the garage to photograph it! Believe me, every square is truly a work of art with extraordinary stitch work and detail.  This picture was taken at 1/300 second shutter speed which should yield very high resolution when blown up. For complete instructions for the raffle, see below.

Thank you to each and every person who helped make this quilt happen and especially to
Jodi.  It was truly a joint labor of love.

Here's the back of the quilt with Jodi.  :-)

The raffle opens today, February 20, 2001.  It will remain open for four weeks.  All entries must be
POSTMARKED by Tuesday, March 20.  The drawing will take place on Saturday, March 31.

All ticket purchases should be considered donations to IMPS. Tickets are available for a donation of $2.00 each or 6 tickets for $10.00. All checks should be made payable to IMPS.

Please include a stamped, self-addressed envelope with your check.  I have rolls of double-numbered tickets.  I'll return your half of the tickets and throw the other half in the raffle bowl.  For those of you
purchasing MASS QUANTITIES of tickets, I'll send you a print-out of your ticket numbers rather than trying to mail back several pounds of ticket stubs.  <g>  I will keep a master file of everyone's name and corresponding ticket numbers.

We will have Jack do the actual drawing on March 31 and will post the results to the list.  There will also be a 2nd and 3rd prize. Neither Jodi or I will be purchasing any tickets because it would be awful
if we won.  LOL!  Consider our donations of time and materials our contribution to this project.  Every red cent that comes in will go to IMPS.

We had considered doing this all through e-mail but people's computers go down, mail goes unread or gets deleted, etc.  We decided snail mail was more reliable.  Best of luck to you!  Please e-mail me with any questions.

The Quilt Drawing

The first pic is of Tom (holding Stanley) drawing the 2nd prize winner (Tammy in FL) and the next is of Jack drawing the winner of the quilt...Donna in NY. The raffle ultimately raised $2,292.00 for IMPS and everyone who participated should be very proud. Congratulations to our winners!!!
