Rusty and his new family

Hi! I'm now called Rusty (2½ yrs old), (I'm the handsome fellow in the middle), Rusty is a name which I immediately LOVED and answered to in less than 2 days! (You may remember me on the IMPS website as LeRoy in Los Angeles area from Sept-Dec.) I want you to meet my FOREVER Mom, Dixie, and my Lil' sis, Carrie (1½), and my much older brother, Cujo (12½)! We have already had so many neat adventures together, like camping in the desert in a motorhome, taking walks in the desert, and just having FUN! Carrie and I chase each other up and down and around the stairs all day and all night, and when we are tired, we get in mom and dad's laps, sometimes all three of us in one lap! Cujo likes to boss us around, but we usually ignore him! At night we all pile into bed with mom and dad to keep warm, and each morning we get our "breakfast" biscuits and sometimes "Greenies" (to keep our teeth clean....boy are they good!)

My mom says: "Adopting Rusty from IMPS has been such a rewarding experience; he was so ready to give us all the love he had -- and we were so ready to receive him and give him the love back AND a stable home life. He is a perfect playmate for our girl, Carrie and a respectful and caring friend to his "elder", Cujo. In other words, he WAS A PERFECT FIT to our family!

Thank you IMPS, keep up the good work and we'll help you in any way we can.

Rusty's first time at the ocean

Dixie's pups at the beach

Just had to share this pic of my husband, Louie, with our two Red Pins, Rusty (IMPS Leroy) and our little Carrie girl. I could title this pic, "Head 'em up and Roll em out, Rawhide..........." OR MAYBE, that Dad (Louie) has learned the "MinPin Strut" well!!! (Senior Cujo was catching a nap at the time!)

This was our Rusty's VERY FIRST time at the ocean, and was he excited! He entertained all the beach walkers with his "investigating" a pile of seaweed!!! (In the MinPin, crouch, and lean to smell, pose"!) Wish I could have gotten a pic of THAT!

Rusty (IMPS #6842), Cujo & Carrie

Hi Mag,

Can't believe almost 3 years have gone by since we adopted our precious "big boy" Rusty from IMPS. Thought it was time to show off my furkids again!

Here is handsome Rusty, 5½ years old now! We think he has a lot of grey for his age - we tell him he worries too much (especially when his "daddy" is out of his sight!) Hard to catch Rusty in a smiling pose - he gets so serious when we take his pic, he is really a clown!

The Princess, our little Carrie girl, at 4½, she rules the boys with an "iron paw"! You can see, one look like this from Carrie, and the boys get in line fast! (She has "Betty Davis eyes" - blocked tear ducts cause discharge stains, the vet is not too excited about doing anything about it yet).

Rusty Rusty

Last, but not least our soon to be birthday boy, Cujo, who will be 15 on 11/18! Cujo says, "I'm really gonna HOWL at my birthday party"
