HENRY Red Male approx 6-10 mos.Uncropped. Was found wandering in the desert with NOONIE, who could possibly be his sister, we just don't know. He is still here waiting for the weather to get a little cooler so he can go to his new owners in Minnesota. They were in a bad car accident and their MinPin was killed so they are very anxious to get him ASAP> He is a very sweet boy and will make them a great pet.

Gizmo

Gizmo

21 August - from Judi

Here's a .gif file of Gizmo. I adopted him from the Animal Rescue League of Boston on February 7, 1998. He was 7 months old at the time and was recovering from a broken leg. He's 13 months old now and spoiled rotten! :) I have a few more of him, too, if you want a different one. :) ~~ Judi and the Giz

Doby & Dancer

Doby and Dancer

23 August - from Terri Dobos ........ Click HERE for more pics of Doby and Dancer

I am sending the cutest picture I have, but it is of both of my dogs. Dancer is on the left with the green collar and leash, and Doby is on the right with the red collar and leash! And you'll see from the other pictures that this was very lucky to have them both standing still and roughly facing the camera at the same time! I'll look at my other pics to see if there are any that are really cute. Here's the simplified story of Dancer:

We drove 5 hours or so to Indiana to pick up a female Min Pin who was in a shelter there. When we got there, there were two from which to choose. I had to make a choice and I chose Dancer (then known as Bug.) We have no regrets as she is adorable and she & Doby are perfect together!!! She is now a happy, healthy pup who will live out the rest of her days being SPOILED ROTTEN, just like Doby!

I am amazed that they get along so well, but they did right from the start. We brought Doby along to Indiana because it was important to see his reaction to a new dog, and these two just started playing together and running around like they'd known each other for years! And now they're the best of friends, playing together, sleeping together, licking each other! We are so very happy we brought Dancer home and into our lives! They're much richer because of her (and Doby, too! He brought a lot to our lives when we first got him 7 years ago and he still does, of course!) They are our little Angels and we love them both dearly!

IMPS: Rocky

Mon, 12 Oct 1998 16:25:53 -0500 - from Liz

Even though I was pretty much completely out of touch last week, we did manage to get Rocky from the Dane County Shelter placed with Teresa who has been on the IMPS waiting list pretty much since the beginning!! Rocky is a five year old, extremely overweight (looked like his skin was going to pop at the seams!!) min pin who was turned in by his owner due to health problems. He's doing nicely with Teresa and is working on losing all that weight His owner did let Teresa know that he enjoys ice cream and the occasional brownie.......I don't THINK so!!!!

Hopefully Teresa will find the time to join the list, but as a full time student with a rescued rottie and now a rescued min pin, she's pretty busy!!!
